Yeah, I know most of the Briggs disappeared from Laurens. Rev. Jesse remained until his death in 1850. But, now that I think on it, I believe he actually lived in Union County at the time of his death. One of the problems in researching these folks is they lived in that little area where Union, Laurens and Spartanburg Counties meet and they have records in all three counties. I'll betcha the Craigs did, also.
