    3. One of my maternal blood lines was named STRATFORD, and resided around the Camden area beginning sometime back in the mid-1700s. Our emigrant ancestor was Richard STRATFORD [b. 18 Mar 1743 in Randwick, Standish, Gloucestershire, England - d. 17 Oct 1813 in Camden, Kershaw, SC]. He was married to a Barbara COLEMAN [no dates or ancestry available yet], and they had 9 children. Their eldest daughter, Ruth STRATFORD [b. 11 Feb 1771 - d. 2 Mar 1857] married John NELSON [b. @1761 in England and orphaned in VA - d. 21 May 1826 near Camden, Kershaw, SC] and they had 10 children. I am primarily concerned with any information as to what may have happened to the STRATFORD family, as they do not show up on any censuses that I have seen after the 1790 census. If Richard [my 5xg/g'father] did not die until 1813, why didn't he show up on the censuses for 1800 & 1810? I have also checked Lancaster County, to no avail. I do not have internet, and am basically housebound due to health problems. Any help or guidance with this would be greatly appreciated.
