For sometime I have been working on a more information on Company I, 3rd South Carolina Regiment of State Troops. This company was raised in Lancaster and Kershaw county in September of 1864, activated in Noveember. It was made of of boys, 16 and younger. I have a muster roster and have added data (see Confederate Corner WEB Page with a link from Lancaster GENWEB) but have hit a wall. I have not found the following boys: Estridge, Franklin C Gardner, R Marshall, W J Stewart, Samuel There were boys as young as 11 (in 1864) in the unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to gather actual date of birth and death, and burial locations on the whole unit.
