Discovered my connection to the Flat Creek Baptist Church tonight. Wondering if anyone has information on George Cook's parents or children. Married to Abigail Knight. Her parents were Andrew and Gincey(sp?). Believe George's mother was Mary Fail(e). George was a newspaper man and wrote a special paper on the founding of Flat Creek Baptist on July 4, 1776. Paper gave information on how the pastor came to the area, etc. Does anyone have information on this paper?
