I would love to share Thanksgiving with: GG-Grandparents: WILLIAM F. HAMMOND (1806 ? - 1866 SC, bur Hanging Rock Methodist Church & wife, MICKEY BRUCE 1812 ? - 1896 bur Laney Family Cem., Monroe, Union Co, NC due to such bad weather her body could not be carried back to SC. I'd love to know for sure just who were the parents of my MICKEY (BRUCE) HAMMOND.........& I'd also like to know where WILLIAM HAMMOND was born & who were his parents!!!!!! I would love to spend time w/my G-Grandparents, JOSEPH B. BRUCE, 1851 NC - 1924 NC & his wife, S. CATHERINE (HAMMOND) - who lived in Lancaster Co, SC when my Grandfather, WILLIAM ARTHUR BRUCE was born ca 1880 - (several other ch were born there but died as infants) & would love to ask them about my Granddaddy when he was little - I've never forgotten the mischievous light in his eyes from long ago! My curiosity about my G - Grandfather, JOSEPH B. BRUCE is what let me to this wonderful/miserable hobby/obssession! It's a never ending thing - which I enjoy even when I'm miserable at it!
