    3. I'm looking for the parents of my ancestor Elizabeth BARKLEY, who married William PENNY ca 1776. Does anyone recognize this early Lancaster County family? One possible father is John BARKLEY, born in Ireland in 1720, served in the Rev. War as a Major, and died in Lancaster Co. in 1796. I have one reference, an article written by Mabel Trott FitzSimons, saying that John was m. to Agnes ___ [Margaret GREY in another record is shown as his wife]. Children listed are sons William, Robert (m. Mary PALLON in 1784),John (m. Agnes___),Hugh (m. Mary GREY). Daughters are __?__ (m. ___DAVIS) and Ann (m. James LOVE). So there is no Elizabeth listed--but maybe someone out there has a complete list of children, that might include Elizabeth? Thank you for looking. Bill Penny MN
