An addendum to my recent HAGINS posting - I am trying to prove/disprove that the following Hagins people were possible siblings from Lancaster Co. All (except Margaret HAGINS who married Jesse CRAIG) were in Harris Co. GA (ca. 1840 and later) living near each other and their families seemed to be intertwined in numerous ways. Sarah 'Sally" HAGINS (b. ca 1793 in SC) married Samuel HUEY (s/o Hercules HUEY and Isabella SMITH) from Lancaster Co. Samuel and Sarah were in Harris Co. GA by 1832. Samuel died Jan 1845 in Harris Co. Their known children: James H. (b. ca.1833); Margaret (b. 1834-36); Sarah (b. ca.1835); Martha J. (b. ca.1828) and married Baswell BANKSTON (my 2g-gp); other possible children include: Elizabeth (m. FORSYTH), Margaret (m. Alexander TEEL), Margarett J. (married Michael HILLER), Mary Ann (married Benj. VARDAMEN), Mary (married Young BA WRIGHT) and Nancy (married Nero WATSON. Mary HAGINS (b. ca.1788 SC, died 1863 Harris Co) married Abel NELSON (b. ca.1786 SC, died 1870 Harris Co.) Jane HAGINS (b. ca.1800 SC died 1875 Harris Co.) married John NELSON (b. ca.1784 SC died 1829 Harris Co). Know child: William NELSON (b 1829 GA). John NELSON was guardian of James MORGAN (b. 1835) and Robert MORGAN (b. 1836). Joseph HAGINS (b. 1780-90 SC, died 1850 GA) married Nancy Ann ????. Joseph and Nancy Ann arrived in Harris Co. from SC 1834. Known children: Robert D., James, Nancy Turvey and Benjamin D. Robert D. married Ann Clay VARDAMAN. Margaret HAGINS (b. ca.1791 Lancaster Co.) married Jesse CRAIG. I appreciate any help that can be provided. Many thanks, Adrienne in California
