Here is another abstract which contains the following surnames which may be of interest: DEASON, LOWRY, KIMBALL, FRIZZLE (FRISSLE), ARANT?, ARON?, BROTTON, BAKER, CHILDERS, GIBSON, WADE, WILLIAMS, TURNER, CRONOMOSIN? (Have no idea of what this name was/is) My interest was DEASON surname. I have edited somewhat for brevity, but have full text. Pages 47,48, 49 are pages of the book, page 36 is from the text of the book. "Abstracts of Deeds B (Old) Lancaster, Co. SC, Vol 1", Nat#393275 from pages 47, 48, 49 This indenture made the 15th of July 1788 between William DEASON and Jane his wife of the one part and FRederick KIMBALL of the other part both of Camden District, witnesseth ... sum of 50 pounds Sterling money of the State aforesaid ... hath sold to Frederick KIMBALL ... land granted to Mary GIBSON and from GIBSON transferred to Thomas WADE by lease & release dated May 14, 1760 and thence transferred from WADE to John BROTTON and from John BROTTON to Cron? and from then to John BAKER and from BAKER to Thomas CHILDORA and from CHILDORA to Benjamin DEASON and from DEASON to Conrod ARON and from Conrod ARON to his son William ARON and from the said ARON to William DEASON and from said DEASON to Frederick KIMBALL, the said land lying and being on Flat Creek granted unter the hand of Wm. Henry LITTLETON, Gov. of SC, ... containing 100 acres ... signed by Wm. DEASON Jane DEASON (her mark) Signed sealed and delivered in presence of ? WILLIAMS Thos. FRIZZLE (his mark) ? TURNER PAGE 36 Oct. 15 1789 personally came Frederick KIMBALL and Capt. William DEASON and both say that on the 14 of Jany. 1789 they did cancel the conveyance (from the said Capt. DEASON to the said Co. KIMBALL) and they -- recorded and the said Capt. DEASON produced a RECT. in full of dues and demands from the said KIMBALL to him the said DEASON. page 36 South Carolina, Lancaster Co., this day Thos. FRIZZLE personally came before me John LOWRY ... made oath that he saw William DEASON and Jane his wife sign, seal and deliver the above Instrument of Writing for the uses and purposes above mentioned and that he did sign the same as a subscribing withness and likewise he did see William WILLIAMS and Samuel TURNER also sign the same as subscribing witness. Sworn to this 17th of July 1788 before me. John LOWRY J.P. July 17 1788 State of SC. This indenture made 16 July 1788 between William DEASON, Planter and Jane his wife of the one part and Frederick KIMBALL planter both of Camden District Wtnesseth that for 50 pounds stering of SC to him paid he hath sold to said Frederick KIMBALL ... tract of land that his Excellency William Henry Littleton Esq. governor of said State gave and granted to her the said Mary GIBSON transferred to Thomas WADE by lease and release dated May 14, 1760 and thence transferred from Thomas WADE by lease & release to John BROTTON and from John BROTTON transferred to CRONOMOZIN from CRONOMOZIN transferred to John BAKER, from John BAKER transferred to Thomas CHILDERS, from said Thomas CHILDERS to Benjamin DEASON and from thence to Conrod Aorant by lease & release from thence to William Arrant his son by lease and release and from thence transferred to William DEASON abovesaid.
