Hmm. I have Robert Lee as son of William J. Blackmon and Polly Cato. This is pretty well documented in family stuff, I'll look and see if I can find the original notes I took it from. Wm. J was an old goat, he had 3 wives, one of whom he married when he was in his 50s and she was a teenager I think. I seem to remember seeing this inconsistency in the Cato line once before -- where'd you get your info? It'd be good to find out which was right, once and for all. I didn't have Wylie's wife either, that's helpful. Anyway, Robert Lee and Almetta were married in December 1886.
