    3. Sue, Maybe someone out there has some old Lancaster directories that would help. I can't swear to it but I think they were selling animal feed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. My father had a country store that sold feed and I believe this was one of the brands at that time. Some of the feed companies sold their feed in print cloth bags with no advertising on the bag itself but a paper tag attached where the bag was sewn gave the name, weight, type of feed, ingredients, etc. printed on the card. Housewives insisted their husbands get the cloth bags. I can remember men reaching in their overall pockets for a scrap of this cloth and wanting to match it so their wives would have enough for a dress.
