    3. You mentioned the Failes and I am looking for a connection to my Sarah Arabella Baker who married a James E. Faile in approximately 1906, probably in Lancaster County, SC. I have not been able to determine which Faile family James E is from or whether or not they ever had any children. Do you happen to have any connection to or information on James E. Faile? (DOB approximately 1882), wife went by Sallie, per 1910 Waxhaw Township census, had his mother-in-law Caroline Baker, her son Benjamin F Baker and his son (my grandfather) Nathaniel E Baker living with them. That's why I am more interested in a group from Chesterfield. The Failes are suppose to have married into some Turks. Thanks for the info. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Louise Pettus" To: Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2005 10:06 PM Subject: Re: [SCLANCAS] HILTON/PHILLIPS > To find plenty of information on Turks in SC try Google with > Brass Ankles or Brass Ankles, Turks or Melungions or Red Bones, Turks. > Also: American Life Histories collection, Library of Congress > > Louise Pettus ==== SCLANCAS Mailing List ==== Lancaster Co.
