B (Jun 1862 - Jan 1863) - my program shows a Daniel BEEKS, b. 16 Jun 1816 in SC; died 20 July 1873 in Laurens Co. SC. Buried Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Ware Shoals, Laurens Co., SC. Daniel was a son of Francis Marion BEEKS (1786 - 1861). Daniel BEEKS married Mary Pauline CLARDY (b. 4 Sept 1823). I did notice a Reuben CLARDY in the same unit. I have no other data regarding Daniel but have extensive data on the BEEKS ancestry (I am a BEEKS descendant). In the same unit is William BECKS, 2nd Lieut. Could this William BECKS have been Wiliam BEEKS? Daniel had a brother named William "Billie" BEEKS, b. abt 1825 and died 3 April 1889.
