Glad you checked it out. This effort is an out growth of my research on my great grandfather who served from Lancaster County in 3rd SC, Company I, Junior Reserves, when he was 16 (1864-65). I went down so many blind alleys, each supplying data. I just thought the best use was a web page to help other folks. Now the pitch. This is an on going effort with the ultimate goal to gather enough data to put into the SC Archives. I would appreciate any data you can supply. Date and location of birth, death, and burial would help. I would like to identify each company's county or counties of origin.
