My GreatGrandfathers name is Hall Wingate,he was from a reservation in North Carolina, His father & mothers names are Freeman Wingate and Nannie Wingate...he had four sisters<Nannie,Notie,Zula,Bulah 1brother name unknown Hall married Fannie White of Lancaster,S.C.they had five children-Robert,LulaMae,Joseph,and a set of twin boys-Mattrew&Mark who in which died at birth<1930?CharlotteCity,North carolina His daughter Lula Mae Wingate-Thompson is my grandmother she died January 5th,1997in charlotte,n.c. Robert her brother died at 17,he caught penumonia Joseph is alive living in North carolina.Charlotte Mattrew died in 1995,his wife Sadie Bennett died in 1999 Hall Wingate died Feburary 28,1957 in Charlotte,North Carolina...He has a host of Grand,Great&Great,Great grandchildren....relatives here that want to find out more about him and his family..If any of this looks familar ,Please send me a line...this search has been ongoing for years and i still have not found out a whole lot..
