However, there is one Henry in Lancaster Co in 1830 (probably near the river on Camp or Dry Creek), the one you appear to be researching, and two in York. This may help sort people out. The York Co Henry Clark in 1820 was 18-25 with a boy and a girl under 10 and a wife in the 16-25 bracket. (Capt Whisenhunt's District) In the early 1840s, Eli Clark of York County made a will (ESTATE PACKET: CASE 75, FILE 3700) which has names indexed as CARLISLE, MARY ELIZABETH; CARLISLE, NANCY MARGARET; CLARK, HENRY; ROWELL, MARY A; FORMAN, JAMES T; CLARK, ALLSTON; STEELE, STOURTON E. Around the same time there was a York Co will of John CLARK, (ESTATE PACKET: CASE 78, FILE 3807). Names Indexed: CLARK, ELI T; CLARK, JAMES H; CLARK, HENRY; RATTERREE, JAMES; RATTERREE, THOMAS Type: WILL (TYPESCRIPT) The person who knew all bout the Clarks was Mildred Clark Womack, long since passed on. But I used to write her about entirely other families, and I remember her books are at the library in Lancaster if you can find a volunteer to look them up. (I am not related in any way. I just felt like answering a question today.)
