My connection is through the HARIS sisters who married into the Wrights. However, I have asked a friend, Charles Respass, to search for anything Tennessee connected that might help you. He has done a tremendous amount of research and worked very hard on his Wright research. Although he has not worked this line for a while, and Charles has been generous enough to respond with the following information: "Hi Carol, I reviewed what I had on this Wright family and when I looked at the migration patterns of the Wright's I followed, I did notice some of the James and Alexander Wright neighbors in Lancaster, Co., SC also went to Tipton Co., TN at about the same time in the late 1830,s. An example is James Draffin, Moore's, Harper's, Nelson's and others. I have tried to match all the Wright families to the early ones in the 1790/1830 census for years and matched the census records with the records of Brent Holcomb who is the best published researcher for SC records. attached is what I have.
