    3. Hi--I am new to the list and looking for any info on my ggg grandparents, Joseph Eakins and Isabella Walkcup. Joseph and Isabella came to SC about 1770 from County Tyrone, Ireland, and had 6 children--John, George, Thomas (they came to KY in the early 1800's), Samuel, and Sarah (md. Samuel Biggerstaff) and Isabella (married a Wilkerson/Wilkinson. The family moved to Rutherford Co., NC before 1790 and the daughter Sarah Eakins Biggerstaff stayed in NC. Isabella may have married an Angus Wilkinson. Joseph died about 1824 and made a will out listing his children--Isabella was married to a Wilkinson at the time of the will. I would like more info on Isabella Wilkinson and on the Walcup family. The name Walcup is spelled many, many ways. Also, supposedly a brother (John) came to the US with Joseph and Isabella Walcup Eakins. Can anyone help me out? I do have lots of info on the line of Joseph Eakins, but have many gaps to fill. Am always happy to exchange.
