I am searching for the Mackey family of Lancaster, South Carolina. I am particularly interested in Thomas Mackey, (son of Solomon Mackey) and his wife, L. Stevens Mackey( that's how she was listed in the 1850 census, according to the book "Mackey's and Allied Families"). I have hit a brick wall where they concerned. I think they moved on to Choctaw County, Miss. and then on to Texas. If so, I have a WHOLE LOTTA Mackey's (or McKey's as we spell it) to add to the Mackey family line.
