hi, a nice lott-smith cousin sent me this, i thought you all might like to see it. june Family Thing > Someone I know sent this to me. It is a T-Shirt that has a 4 generation chart on the back of it so you can fill it in. I thought this would be a good idea for a family reunion. That way everyone can show their lineage on their T-Shirt so we don't get so confused. > > http://www5.icat.com/store/familything/index.icl?execute=itempg.icl&ITEMID=2 > >
Just sending this on. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 05, 2000 11:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Genealogy of John Barnwell, 1704-1880 Hello, South Carolina I was rummaging through one of my used book stores in Virginia this week and located a book that is of no personal interest to me, but would be a treasure to the right person. It is a fold-out chart of the genealogy of John Barnwell, 1704-1880, by Barnwell Rhett Heyward, A.B., L.L.B. It is a hard-cover book, the chart is printed on what appears to be heavy parchment paper. I found no date anywhere on this book, and it consists only of a raised family crest in full color (motto: Malo Moriquiary Foedari) and a very large fold-out genealogy. (If I recall it folds out into 9 or 12 oversize pages.) The book shop owner is asking $90.00 for it, but whispered to me that "we could talk." Please email me if this is something anyone might be interested in. Thanks, Nancy Pressley
Doris, I hope you don't mind my eavesdropping here, but I would be interested in the surnames that you're working on in the Lancaster County area. We might have some mutual interests. Bill Hughes [email protected] http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bhughes/
I will add you to lust of interested people, if you like. If I get enough people interested, we will decide the course. The one thing I have in mind is a tool that a researcher can use to resolve 1850 questions. If you have seen the Kershaw County 1850 espanded census, you will know my aims. I have a Tabitha (Betty)PIERCE married to John MOTLEY/MOTLOW about 1781 in Kershaw County. Don't see any Pierce in 1850 census.
