hello again. i think i have lost my mind. i forgot to ask this also. i was told by a former employee at the courthouse in portsmouth that my gr gr grandfather, Robert BENNETT was very often in the court records. some times because he was a troublemaker and the main one because it took him twenty years to get a divorce from his wife Catherine.(he had no grounds and she was being stubborn) anyway if anyone could get me a copy of some of his activities out of the records including his historic try for a divorce(not sure he ever got it) i would be greatful. i know its there for sure. this would be about 1760-75 perhaps. anything on him would be appreciated. than you . maggie coughlan
