I am researching my husband's name of Foster. His grandmother was Lucile Deloris Foster who was raised in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born 08-07-1911 in Ashland, Kentucky to John Thornton Foster and Effie Gontz. Lucile attended Portsmouth High School and worked at American Steam Laundry. She had a sister named Elizabeth and two brothers, Charles "Poke" Foster and Ernest Foster. Anyone who might have information on Lucile or this Foster family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
