The Book "History of Lower Scioto Valley" lists my GGG-Grandfather rs as an early settler (prior to 1812) in Lick Township, then in Ors County. The 1820 Pike County, Jackson District census has Philip as a head of household in the age bracket "over 45 years of age. Philip is also listed in "Southern Ohio Tax Payers in the 1820's" as follows Philip Hartley 1826 chattle JA/33 Philip Hartley 1829 chattle JA/32 The 1830 Jackson County Ohio census show a a Philip Hartley as a head of household in age bracket 80/90 years of age. I would appreciate any information on Philip - where born: where and when hs died: where interned, Anything. I only know hi is my GGG-Grandfather and he was married to a Mary Siford.
