Looking for Alton Jones, born Feb 26, 1860, son of Samuel Jones and Mary Lyons. Family members tell me Jones family was from Portsmouth area. Alton had the following brothers and sisters; Walter, Edward, Montie, Claudia, Taccie, Elsie and Zora. Alton left Ohio going to Illinois to live. He changed his last name to Everette and married Marjorie Alice Wells who was born July 3, 1865 in Coshocton, Ohio. Marjorie was the daughter of Lydia Bacraft and William Wells. I have no other information on family of Alton and Marjorie. Would appreciate any help.
