Hey Doug, Don't know if there is any connection but I looked on a map of OH and Jackson County is close to BROWN and ADAMS counties where some DAVIS relatives I have were from and are buried. At Mt. Orab Cemetery is buried: The head stone reads DAVIS HARRISON (1856-1935) ANNA (1860-1908) LEOTA (1902-1903) FLORA (1881-1973) LESLIE (1878-1935) I haven't began doing much verification via census, birth certificates etc, yet on the DAVISs in my family. But here's some of what I know and if you think there is a connection and if you have more info related to this bunch I would love to share. Jefferson Harrison or William Jefferson DAVIS (1856-1935) md. ANNA (1860-1908): Their children were 1. LESLIE DAVIS (1878-1935, died in a war I believe) 2. MAUD (DAVIS)DEAN (b?d?) md Bunt Dean--kids were at least Bill; Fred; Em; Woody; ?; --Fred lived on a farm in Fayetteville, OH 3. JIM DAVIS lived in St. Bernard OH, had 5 sons at the same time in WWII. 4. BILL DAVIS 5. FLORA PEG DAVIS (1881-1973), never married, my great Aunt Peg. 6. ETTA JANE (DAVIS) APPLEGATE (1/31/1895, d. 1989) md. Link Applegate (1892-1962). Link retired from the RR. They lived on 66th Street in Carthage, OH, I belive. Their children were: Florene 'Florence' (Applegate) Wesley md. Raymond Kenneth Wesley, this is my grandma and pa; Link, Jr, "Mick" Applegate; Helen (Applegate) md. lived in Beavis, OH and had children; Jack B. "Jackie" Applegate (1927-1928); and Virgina Applegate (1922-1926). I was told that after ANNA died at age 48yr, HARRISON either remarried or else lived with some other woman???? Let me know if this helps or if you have any connections. deb wesley Durham, NC rosewat@ibm.net ------------------------------------------------------------ Doug Davis wrote: > > Looking for info on Mary Ann TERRY, born 1902 in Jackson County, Ohio. > married Ralph Joseph DAVIS [?], probably in Jackson County.
