In a message dated 98-04-22 22:24:46 EDT, you write: << I really don't mean to fuss - this is just kind of a hint: when you post a query to the list (any list) please consider using proper punctuation. Have you stopped to look at a long message where nothing was capitalized? It is very confusing and hard to read. I know that some folks are not that familiar with keyboards, but it's really simple -just hold down the key marked "SHIFT" while you press the letter key and it makes a capital letter! It would really make reading them SO much easier! Thanks! >> I have a little addition to this post. If everyone will capitalize the surnames in their inquiries, it makes it much easier to scan the posting & see if it involves your family. This is especially helpful if the posting is lenthy & contains several surnames as follows: I am interested in finding out more about the descendants of the 1st marriage my great-grandfather, Fernando C. SEARL who was married to 1. Julyann SCHOONOVER & 2. Caroline SHOEMAKER. Fernando was the son of Nathaniel SEARL & Rebecca WHITE who came to Scioto Co. in 1811, from Steuben County, NY. The children from his marriage to Julyann SCHOONOVER were, Minta Eurydice who married a Rev VAN ANDA, Geneva Helen who married a FLEMING, Molly who married a Charles MORTON, and Orpheus Alfonso who married Mary McFANN. Any help would be appreciated. Linda K. Clifford
