I am seeking information on the families of John Clark and Nancy Brown Clark that lived in Jackson county in the 1850's and early 1860's. They moved to Jefferson County, IL in the 1860's. Their son, John Lorenzo, and family went with them, but returned to Jackson Col, and John was murdered 6 Aug 1872, supposedly by a man named Radcliff or Ratcliff. We would like to learn information concerning the parents of John Clark, and Nancy Brown, any information concerning the family of John Lorenzo, and any information on the murder. John, the husband of Nancy Brown, was a blacksmith, before buying land there. They MAY have lived in Columbiana Co., Ohio earlier.
