All What the Shawnee knew as Chillicothe is very far removed from present day Chillicothe. It is a small village just outside of Xenia, Ohio (to the northeast as I recall) now known as "Oldtown", Ohio. I believe that places it in either Clarke or Greene county. Ed Locker
