Some of you might find this amusing, but I have a picture of a man and woman (my ancestors) sitting down in a portrait, with people standing behind them. She is seated to the left, and him to the right in the picture. She is posing with a miniature book, it appears to be a corded necklace miniature book, titled, "THE TALE OF FRISKY SQUIRREL." The author is ARTHUR SCOTT BAILEY. It has a picture on the front of 2 standing rabbits, she is holding this miniature book up on her lap to pose for the picture. Every time I look at this picture, I wonder why she is posing with a corded necklace miniature book. My grandma says for the simple fact, she liked it.
