Dear Ed and Lynda Campbell and other LOPER Researchers, I am researching George LOPER, who was born in Ohio in 1847, and who appeared in the 1860 census of Greenup Co KY, page 733. He was enumerated in 1860 as being 23. His wife Rebecca was 18, born KY. Also in their home were Harriet Nelson, 15, housekeeper; Harmon Aldridge, 20, born OH; and William Cooper, 35, born in Massachusetts. William Cooper was my third-great grandfather. If I can trace George LOPER back to his birthplace in Ohio and identify George's parents, I may discover William Cooper's whereabouts before his arrival in KY about 1846. Thank you! Randal W.
