FLORENCE - Sara Lynn Walters, 48, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her residence after a long illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2010, in Calvary Baptist Church, directed by Waters - Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. She was born in Conway, SC, a daughter of Joyce Martin Walters Jordan and the late Richard S. Walters. She earned her nursing degree at Florence-Darling-ton Technical College and was an LPN at Florence Convalescent Home and Regency Hospital. Sara was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother of Florence and a daughter, Allyson Walters, also of Florence. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard S. Walters, II.
