Sheila Y. Richardson, age 78, passed away Thursday April 22, 2010 at her residence following a long illness. Mrs. Richardson was born August 27, 1931 a daughter of the late George and Marjorie Rushton, of Southampton England. She is survived by her husband of 54, years, Archie Earl Richardson of Conway, two daughters; Fiona Sanderson and her husband Dow of Charleston S.C.; Marcia Usry and her husband David of Conway S.C. Her four grandchildren are Noah Sanderson of Charleston S.C.; Nick Sanderson of St. Paul MN; Hailey Reed and Damian Usry of Conway S.C. Mrs. Richardson is also survived by two brothers Ernest and Terrence Rushton of Carlysle, England. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday April 23, 2010 at, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, with the Rev Jimmy Floyd and the Rev. M. Dow Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the burial service. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Dr. Charles Sasser and his staff, and to the staff of Mercy Care Hospice for the compassionate care they gave Mrs. Richardson.
