Alton Edward Cannon, age 74 of Aynor, died April 22, 2010 at his residence. A native of Conway, he was a son of the late Walker Cannon and Blanch Joyner Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a bailiff for the Horry County Sheriff Department for over 37 years. He is survived by a brother, William "Bill" Cannon of Goose Creek, a sister, Juanita Bath of Conway, Judy Barnhill, friend and caregiver, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Cannon. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Homewood Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev.
