Delmus "Shad" Larrimore, 70, of Britton's Neck, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. He was born on October 27, 1939 the son of the late W.H. "Buck" and Bessie Larrimore. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. A self employed carpenter, he was formally employed with Dargan Construction for over 18 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sarah Jones Larrimore; four daughters, Cathy (Thurman) Lee, Deborah L. Stalvey, Theresa ( Michael ) Beverly and Susan ( Brent ) Hanes, all of Conway; one son, Ronnie ( Michelle ) Larrimore of Myrtle Beach; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 3 pm Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Jamie Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Old Neck Cemetery.
