Mrs. Eula Marie Causey Fax, age 91, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Conway Medical Center following an illness. Mrs. Fax was born May 22, 1918 in Horry County a daughter of the late Isreal S. and Cora Belle Causey. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. Mrs. Fax retired from Horry County Schools. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Fax; six brothers, Ernest Causey, Wendell Causey, Lester Causey, Reo Causey, Brice Causey, and Angus Causey; and three sisters, Sally Mitchell, Tonie Estes, and Bonnie Stanley. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Ward Funeral Home in Loris. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Fischbach and Rev. Ricky Hardee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
