MONCKS CORNER - Danny Guyton, 47, of Moncks Corner, the owner of East Coast Towing, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Born July 31, 1962, in Conway, SC; he was the son of Mary Brown Guyton Adkins and the late Alex Guyton. Danny was previously employed with Clark Construction and Nucor Steel. He loved being on the water fishing, boating or riding his jet ski. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. His greatest joy was his grandson "little man" Rashad. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Alex; brother, Al Guyton; two sisters: Doris Ann Guyton and Brenda Guyton. He is survived by his mother, Mary and step-father Richard Adkins of Moncks Corner; grandmother, Evelyn Rush of North Carolina; two daughters: Sabrina M. Turner of Moncks Corner and Nicole Guyton of Summerville; two sisters: Sylvia English of Moncks Corner and Linda Sutton of Summerville; one grandson, Rashad Lamar Turner and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 17A, Moncks Corner.
