Gladys Skipper, 71, of Willard Road died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1939 in Aynor a daughter of the late French and Ruby Jones Harrelson. Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and with her flowers. She loved going to church and talking to people, especially Chummy and Weston. She surely will be missed by all. Mrs. Skipper is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Joe Oliver Skipper of the home; one son, Joe Oliver Skipper, II of Conway; one daughter, Diane S. Lewis (Kenneth) of Aynor; three brothers, Tommy Harrelson (Juanita) of Conway, Phillip Harrelson (Ruth) of Conway and Charles Harrelson (Jeanette) of Galivants Ferry; four grandchildren, Morrigan Skipper, Aedan Skipper, Heather Squires and Kenneth Lewis; one great grandson, Caleb Squires and many other family and friends who will miss her. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Bakers Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Lamar Squires, Rev. Archie Evans and Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating.
