Mrs. Vina Elwood Gasque Ivey, age 77, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 8, 2010. Mrs. Ivey was born August 10, 1932 in Conway, a daughter of the late Enoch and Mary Eliza Lee Gasque. She graduated from Aynor High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ivey was a devoted Christian and a member of Dogwood Hill Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Gentry A. Ivey and one sister, Elsie Mae Lewis. She is survived by four children, Mary Wollenhaupt and her husband Paul of Whiteville, N.C., Jane Long and her husband Dale, Susie Helfinstine and her husband Jeff, and Connie Graham and her husband Rev. Donnie Graham all of Loris; four brothers, Carlon Gasque and his wife Violet of Aynor, J.C. Gasque and his wife Glenda, Laverne Gasque and his wife Joyce, and Earl Sarvis and his wife Cindy all of Conway; two sisters, Allene Hardee and Ila Mae Cannon both of Aynor; four grandchildren, Scott Graham and his friend Heather Bates of Loris, Sherri Hyman of Conway, Donna Jernigan and her husband Kevin of Loris, and Kristi Hucks and her husband Brad of Conway; and ten great grandchildren, Austin, Cassie, Karmen, Trey, Taylor, Kamdyn, Hailey, Karlie, Brody, and Leah. The family will receive friends Monday, May 10, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Ward Funeral Home in Loris. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Dogwood Hill Baptist Church with Rev.
