Sandra Cribb Whitley, 59, of Brown Swamp Road died Monday, May 17, 2010 in Houston, TX. She was born November 9, 1950 in Conway a daughter of Loretta Richardson Johnson and the late John Burroughs Johnson. In additions to her father, she was also predeceased by her husband, J. H. Cribb, Jr. Sandra was employed with the Horry County School District for ten years. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a hard worker, always wanting a project to do. Sandra would always put others before herself, especially those in need. She was the strongest person the family ever knew, never giving up. Mrs. Whitley is survived by her mother, Loretta Johnson of Conway; two sons, Jeffrey Cribb (Cheri Wessinger) and Stephen Cribb both of Conway; three sisters, Diane McDowell (Billy) of Conway, Kathy Johnson of Beaufort and Denise Boyd (Greer) of Ft. Pierce, FL; one brother, Johnny Johnson of Conway; two special nieces, Courtney and Caroline of Conway and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will miss her. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Graveside Service will be held 3pm Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Brown Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Phillips and Rev. Davin Johnson officiating.
