Thomas Boyd "Tommy" Crosland, age 76, of Citadel Drive, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. Crosland was born in Conway, a son of the late Thomas Boyd Crosland, Sr. and Leatha Dale Lane Crosland. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired as a salesman with Palmetto Chevrolet in 1998 after 24 years of service. Mr. Crosland retired from the National Guard and was an avid University of South Carolina fan. He was predeceased by his wife, Elaine Marlowe Crosland and a daughter, Kelley Crosland Burden. Surviving are two sons, Thomas B. Crosland, III and his wife, Marsha and David Hayes Crosland, all of Conway, two sisters, Dale Ellington Mills of TN and Judy C. Long of Myrtle Beach, two grandchildren, Marlowe Crosland and Meredith Bowers and one great-grandchild, Olivia Bowers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Sandra Stevens Poirel officiating. Burial will follow with full Military Honors in Hillcrest Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
