Dorothy Lewis Bellamy, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Conway Manor after an extended illness. Born on April 15, 1931 in Conway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bonson and Estella Skipper Lewis. She was a loving mother and grandmother, her family being the center of her life and attention. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Mrs. Bellamy is survived by two sons, William (Bill) Bellamy, Jr. of Little River, Chris Bellamy of North Myrtle Beach; one daughter, Marsha B. Strickland and her husband Jerry of Nichols; one sister, Ann Bennett and her husband Larry of Greensboro; grandchildren, Zane Strickland, Jordan and Madison Bellamy, Christian Trittle; great grandchildren, Trinity and Zackary Strickland, and several loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, William F. Bellamy, a brother, Henry Bonson Lewis, Jr. and a grandson, Zachary K. Strickland. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Lee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel.
