James M. Lewis, 71, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Lewis was born January 19, 1939 in Conway, a son of the late John W. and Mazie Drew Lewis. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Brown Lewis; one brother, Jack Lewis of Conway; and three sisters, Pauline Burris, Jeanette Boyd and Barbara Lewis all of Conway. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Conway Funeral Services with the Rev. Danny Banks officiating.
