Johnnie Kay Countiss, age 54 of Conway died Thursday at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Countiss was a member of White Savannah Free Will Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Horry County. Surviving are a son, Tracy Countiss of Conway and wife Daphne; three grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, and ToreyMae; one sister, Annette Jordan of Conway, one brother, Kenny Jordan of Plantersville and wife Connie; four nieces, three great nieces, two great nephews, and one great great nephew. She is also survived by her mother, Ida Mae Baker of Hemingway and her husband, Gaius. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Jordan and an uncle, S. K. Hodges, both of Myrtle Beach. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the White Savannah Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Seay and Pastor Steve Hyman. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
