Erma Lee Thomlinson Davis, 94, wife of the late W.F. Davis, of Oak Street, Aynor, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010. Ms. Davis was born in Lake City, South Carolina, June 25, 1916, a daughter of the late Christopher E. and Rosa McWhite Thomlinson. She was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Ms. Davis was predeceased by one daughter, Donna Davis Peitzman. Survivors are one son, W. Frank Davis, Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Aynor; one brother, Emmett Thomlinson of Albany, Georgia; one son-in law, Charles Peitzman of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis of Aynor, Rebecca Jenerette and her husband, Jonathan, of Aynor, John Peitzman, Will Peitzman, Anna Peitzman, Clare Peitzman, and Grace Peitzman, all of Charlotte N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hooks, Josie Jenerette, and Jackson Jenerette, all of Aynor. A Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the Aynor Cemetery, with the Rev. Tony Adams officiating.
