    1. [SCHORRY] Kinston Parrish Horry County

    3. I have a 1860 census for an R Anderson that shows the location as being Kinston Parish, Horry County. So far I have not been able to locate any names on maps of that era that show a Kingston Parish. Does anyone know the location or another map/deed/ets that may define it? From everything I have found so far I am lead to believe that it may border on Marion County. Any help out there? Ernest Leatherman www.ma-apple.com APG Member

    3. Hi Ernest Could this Parish be Kingston Parish, not Kinston, if Kinston was on the 1860, then maybe human error when writing or a simple typo. And I noticed you wrote Kinston, then Kingston As I know of Kinston, NC in Lenoir County. Is this D R Anderson the same as your 1860 Anderson Name: D R Anderson Age in 1860: 57 Birth Year: abt 1803 Birthplace: South Carolina Home in 1860: Kingston, Horry, South Carolina Gender: Male Post Office: Conway Household Members: William Griffin 64 D R Anderson 57 Elizabeth Anderson 40 Mary Anderson 20 Russel Anderson 18 Samuel Anderson 16 James F Anderson 14 George W Anderson 12 Gilbert Anderson 10 Sarah A Anderson 4 Henry Q Anderson 2 Doc Regards, D.R.
