Lutie Faye Stevens Todd, age 89, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Loris Extended Care Facility following an illness. Born on August 26, 1921 she was the daughter of Mr. Bert Stevens and Mrs. Doretha Sarvis Stevens. Mrs. Todd retired as a seamstress with Marlene Industries and was a longtime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Bertie S. Gause of Loris, SC and many loving nieces and nephews. Throughout her life Mrs. Lutie was a wonderful mother and grandmother figure to them all. Mrs. Todd was predeceased by her parents, her husband: Henry Foch Todd; three brothers: Rev. Lester Stevens, Norman Stevens and Edgar Stevens and two sisters: Isla Stevens Cox and Mary Gertrude Stevens Holmes. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with committal services following at Carter cemetery. Reverend Rory Thigpen will officiate services.
