Rita Faye Cribb, 55, formerly of Loris, S.C. died Friday, October 15, 2010 at her home in Tabor City following a sudden illness. Born January 24, 1955 in Longs, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Mr. Jimmy James Cribb and Mrs. Ruby Lee Faircloth Cribb. Rita was a licensed floral designer, a former secretary with Loris Community Hospital and a member of Springfield Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Frankie Porter and wife, Paula of Tabor City, N.C.; two daughters, Regina "Gina" Reaves of Tabor City, N.C., and Tonya Suggs and husband, Mitchell of Loris, S.C.; one sister, Wilma Watts and husband, Roger of Longs, S.C.; and nine grandchildren, Blake, Morgan, Austin, Ryan, Dillon, Brevin, Aiden, Brianna and Taylor. Mrs. Cribb was predeceased by her parents; one son, Jimmy Dale Porter; three brothers, Lloyd Cribb, Billy Cribb and Tommy Cribb; and two sisters, Rosie Cribb and Betty Livingston. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with committal services following at Smith Cemetery. The Reverend Mack Hutson will officiate services.
