Sam Lee, 61, of Highway 548, died October 8, 2010 at Prince George Health Care Center. He was born August 18, 1949 in Tabor City, N.C., a son of the late Odell and Lena Hewitt Lee. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Daford Lee and Tony Lee; and sisters, Margaret Lee and Lily Law. Sam enjoyed reading the Bible after giving his heart to the Lord. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Joyce Ann Herring Lee of the home; one son, Samuel McCloud Lee of Conway; one daughter, Melinda Ann Herring of Conway; three brothers, Roland Lee (Racheal) of Aynor, Ben Lee (Lisa) of W.Va., and Ralph Lee (Vivian) of Highpoint, N.C.; two sisters, Annie Mae Lee and Armatha Lee, both of Winston Salem, N.C.; one grandson, Jackson Lee Jordan; and many other family and friends who will miss him. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010.
