Minnie C. Hedin, 74, wife of the late Einar Hedin, of the Homewood section of Horry County died Sunday, September 12, 2010. Mrs. Hedin was born in Conway, S.C., a daughter of the late Clyde M. and Letha Graham Cook. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bourne; a grandson, Shane Martin; and a brother, Emory Cook. Survivors include one son, David Hedin of Conway; three daughters Linda Bourne Perry of Murrells Inlet, Faith Bourne Caulder of Conway and Hope Hedin Edwards of Newport News, Va.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Nobles of Lancaster, S.C., and Milda Huggins of Aynor, S.C. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Pastor Lindsey Inman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2:30 through 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 950 48th Ave N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
