HEMINGWAY - F. Ray Roberts,61, passed away Saturday Sept. 18, 2010 in the Georgetown hospital. Mr. Roberts was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late Paul Roberts, Sr. and the late Mary Beverly Roberts. He was employed by Stuckey Brothers Farm Supply as a Tractor Mechanic, attended the Indiantown Presbyterian Church and Hemingway Schools. Surviving are his wife, Lyn Tanner Roberts of Hemingway; children, Becky R. (Jamie) Cribb of Johnsonville, Nichole Roberts and Rachael Roberts both of Hemingway; grandson, Brice Cribb of Johnsonville; brothers, Paul (Shirley) Roberts, Jr. of Kernsville, NC, Carl (Ramona) Roberts of Harmony, NC and Bobby (Janice) Roberts of Johnsonville, SC; sister, Gwynette Lewis of Hemingway, SC Ray was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Roberts Ready and Gail Roberts Altman; brother, Earl Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday Sept. 21, 2010 in the Indiantown Presbyterian Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery.
