Burnice Edward Roach, Sr. 91, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Conway Manor. He was born May 4, 1919 in Lumberton, N.C., a son of the late Lloyd M and Janie Flemming Roach. In additions to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Jane Russ Roach; and his daughter, Nora Register. Burnice was a loving father and loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing. Mr. Roach is survived by one son, Burnice Edward Roach, Jr. (Kimberly) of Myrtle Beach; one daughter, Jannie Mae Skipper (Benny) of Dillon; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many other family and friends who will miss him. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Ron Dozier officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
